We have a fixed-term vacancy for a Highly Specialist Pharmacist - Paediatric Metabolic for 9-months.

We are looking for a committed pharmacist with an interest in paediatric metabolic.

The successful applicant will be working with a team of highly motivated and experienced pharmacists and technicians providing patient-centred pharmaceutical care to paediatric patients.

To lead, deliver, develop and evaluate clinical pharmacy services within the Evelina London Children’s Hospital to the paediatric metabolic directorate, in accordance with the objectives set by the Clinical Lead Pharmacist.. To act as a role model in paediatric metabolics.

To provide a consistently high pharmaceutical servicein line with GSTFT corporate objectivesand NHS Plan.

To lead, deliver, develop and evaluate the processes for approval, appropriate use and audit of high cost medicines commissioned by NHS England (NHSE) and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG’s) in accordance with the objectives set by the Clinical Lead Pharmacist.

The state-of-the-art Evelina London Children’s Hospital opened in the autumn of 2005 on the St Thomas’ Hospital site of Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The hospital offers a wide range of specialist services for children from south east England and beyond. The hospital includes its own standalone dispensary and delivers comprehensive pharmaceutical services.
