Summary
At Upperthorpe Nursery, we are excited to offer an opportunity for a new Level 2 or 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team. If you are passionate about providing quality practice and care for children, then we would love to hear from you!
Upperthorpe Nursery is looking for a nursery practitioner to work with a well-established team, who have a strong interest in child development and are dedicated to promoting children’s wellbeing.
As an early years practitioner you will be responsible for:
• Delivering excellent care and education to the children through fun games and activities;
• Ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of the children in your care;
• Working alongside a team of practitioners to create an engaging environment enabling children to reach their full potential;
• Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS and individual needs/interests of the children in your care;
• Uploading observations on our parent communication app;
• Having key children and completing appropriate records and engaging in parent/carer meetings.

Previous experience with children aged 0-5 is essential and paediatric first aid training is preferred however we are able to provide paediatric first aid training to the right candidate.
