Overview
We are seeking a skilled Control Panel builder to join our team. The ideal candidate should have broad experience in assembling control panels and working with various electronic components. This role is essential in ensuring that our control systems operate efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Responsibilities
• Assemble control panels to a very high standard, according to specifications and engineering drawings.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Work with Programmable logic controllers and varied equipment including switchgear and associated technologies to ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimise designs and improve assembly processes.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Control Panel Technician or in a similar role within the electrical or mechanical field.
• Strong control panel knowledge, including the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Familiarity with logic controllers is highly desirable.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
