Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)
About the Role
Are you passionate about maintaining fine turf sports surfaces to the highest standard? We are looking for a Fine Turf Grounds Person to work on our London Borough of Lewisham contract. You will be responsible for the care and maintenance of bowling greens, cricket squares, croquet lawns, and golf and sports pitches.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Routine maintenance of fine turf surfaces to IOG standards
✔ End-of-season renovations and daily upkeep
✔ Use and maintenance of specialist grounds equipment
✔ Effective communication with client officers and sports clubs
✔ Driving company vehicles and towing trailers as required
Who We’re Looking For:
Experience in maintaining fine turf sports surfaces is essential
Level 3 qualification or IOG in sports turf management (desirable)
Enthusiastic and hard-working with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
A full, clean UK driving licence is required for this position
