Summary

JOB TITLE: Maintenance Manager
LOCATION: Plymouth (free onsite parking)
SALARY- £34,000 per annum
HOURS- 40 hours per week – 5 days including weekends



Our client in Plymouth is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their Management Team at this centrally located Hotel.

Previous hotel experience as Maintenance Manager or Assistant Maintenance Manager would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Maintenance Manager, you will lead the internal maintenance team effectively while also overseeing external contractors.

Oversee the upkeep of the physical infrastructure, electrical and mechanical systems, kitchen appliances, controls, hands-on maintenance, fire safety measures, and the interior and exterior of the full hotel property.

Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations.

Oversee both reactive maintenance tasks and preventive maintenance programs for the guest rooms and public areas.

Collaborate with the Housekeeping and Front Office departments to coordinate and prioritise maintenance tasks for guest rooms and public areas.

Project manage equipment replacements and venue upgrades.



Candidate requirements;

A good working knowledge of general maintenance and engineering work, including electrics; heating; plumbing systems; and Fire alarms and systems.

Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety.

Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to deliver results.

Analytic traits with the ability to make good business decisions.
