Summary

Company Overview:
Our client, an established building services company, is seeking a skilled Mobile Combustion Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on commercial sites throughout the home counties, ensuring the maintenance and efficient operation of heating systems.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Mobile Combustion Engineer, your duties will include:
Conducting both reactive and planned service and maintenance on various types of boilers, burners, and heating distribution systems.
Delivering maintenance in accordance with SFG-20 standards, ensuring all repairs and services are performed to a professional standard.
Addressing efficiency issues promptly to ensure optimal performance of systems.
Coordinating with the project delivery team to meet all Health and Safety obligations.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date technical and compliance paperwork.

Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess:
Relevant Gas qualifications and a Gas Safe Registration (commercial card).
A minimum of six years’ experience in the industry.
Completion of a time-served apprenticeship in a related field.
A full clean UK driver’s license.
A thorough understanding of the combustion process and techniques for improving performance.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Job Offer:
Salary: Circa £48,000 - £52,000, based on experience.
Annual Leave: 23 days of holiday plus bank holidays.
Overtime: Opportunities to earn an additional £10,000 - £25,000 per year.
Pension: 4% employer contribution to a personal pension plan through Scottish Widows.
Company Vehicle: Assigned vehicle including SatNav, tracker, automatic transmission, air conditioning, comfort seating, and tools racking.
Fuel Card: Provided for company vehicle use.
Probationary Period: The first 6 months of employment will be a probationary period.
