Are you passionate about Machine Learning and eager to make a tangible impact in a fast-growing start-up? We're on the hunt for a Machine Learning Engineer with solid Python development experience to join our innovative team in Edinburgh.
Your duties in the role will involve:
- Design and implement machine learning models and algorithms to tackle complex business problems.
- Develop scalable, maintainable Python code for machine learning applications.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to bring data-driven solutions to life.
- Continuously optimize and refine models based on performance, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experiment with new ML techniques and tools to stay ahead of industry trends.
Essential skills for the role include:
- Experience with Python: Strong development skills in Python, including libraries like NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Machine Learning Knowledge: Practical experience building and deploying machine learning models, particularly in supervised and unsupervised learning.
- Data Handling Skills: Familiarity with data manipulation, data pipelines, and databases.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to think creatively and apply ML techniques to solve real-world problems.
- Start-up Mentality: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a hands-on approach.
- Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker, and version control (Git).
