In this role, you will play a key part in developing and continuously improving the EMS Microsoft Dynamics solution and Search app. Working closely with the Product Owner, you will gain a deep understanding of customer and end-user requirements, ensuring alignment with relevant policies, legislation, and regulations governing Enforcement and associated services. Your expertise will help deliver efficient, effective solutions that support the agency’s objectives.
As part of the Enforcement team, you will engage with internal stakeholders and, where relevant, external partners and suppliers. Ensuring that both internal and external customer needs are met will be central to your role, as will effectively communicating these requirements across the business. You will also take responsibility for contract management tasks related to the EMS Continuous Improvement contract, including developing Statements of Work, managing change requests, monitoring budgets, and overseeing supplier performance. You will work alongside the App development team that are based in Swansea to assist in the building and prioritising of backlogs.
You will stay informed about external factors, such as industry developments, government initiatives, and legislative changes, ensuring that relevant updates are shared and implemented. Your ability to adapt to these evolving requirements will be essential in maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Fulfilling the Subject Matter Expert support role for ECT, utilising business knowledge and validating supplier understanding of requirements.
- Supporting the effective delivery of the product backlog by working with the Product Manager, Business Analysts, UX and other contracted experts to define scope and individual stories.
- Providing support to the Product Owner by identifying risks, prioritising the backlog, and drafting Search and ECT documentation based upon subject matter expert knowledge.
- Being responsible for the contract management tasks relating to the EMS Continuous Improvement contract.
