Summary

Senior Residential Support Worker
Milton Keynes
£27,040 + an additional £50 per sleep-in

I am looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to support children and young people in a fantastic residential home for children and young people in Milton Keynes.

In this role you will:

• Be responsible for providing day to day care for children and young people
• Work as part of a dedicated, ensuring that care teams are maintaining their therapeutic approach and providing direct work with the children
• Lead shifts and manage a staff team
• Assist in leading staff to operate within legal parameters
• Ensure the home is kept to a good standard, including cooking and cleaning and of course safeguarding welfare at all times
• Support the business, clinical and social development of the service

To be successful in the role you will need:

• NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent)
• Experience of working with young people who have challenging behaviours
• Experience of leading shifts
• Experience of supervising care staff
• The ability to work to a rota, including days, sleep-ins, weekends and statutory holidays
• A full UK Manual driving licence
