Yeovil College is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing and Events Assistant to join our creative Marketing team! In this role, you'll be at the heart of the action, helping to shape and deliver a variety of exciting corporate communications and events that showcase Yeovil College as the leading educational provider in South Somerset and North and West Dorset. You’ll have the chance to get hands-on with event management, working closely with internal teams and external partners to bring everything to life—from coordinating impactful career fairs to supporting large-scale corporate events that leave a lasting impression. You'll also dive into creating engaging social media content, driving our digital marketing efforts, and keeping our event materials fresh and engaging. With a mix of creative, and administrative tasks, you’ll be an essential part of making sure our marketing campaigns are on point, engaging, and aligned with the college's vision every step of the way.
What we're looking for: • Previous experience in an office role, ideally with supporting marketing activity. • Level 3 qualification in Business or equivalent. • A confident and engaging communicator with strong organisational skills. • An excellent team player with the ability to remain calm under pressure. • Excellent attention to detail with a creative flair. • A keen interest in creative and social trends. • Ambitious and keen to develop a career in marketing.
