Summary
Thorn Baker Recruitment are recruiting for a number of concrete operatives to work for a busy concrete plant in Alfreton, DE55. This well known, national company have immediate vacancies on a temp to perm basis.
Concrete Operative Job Details:
Working in a team, with full training given, you will be responsible for:
• Physical and manual labour, safely moving heavy products around a busy production environment
• Safely operating machinery
• Assisting with the mixing and pouring of concrete into moulds
• Stripping finished concrete products out of their moulds / casts
• Checking the finished product to ensure it meets specifications
• Ensuring all health and safety site requirements are met
About You:
• Previous concrete experience is highly advantageous
• Machine operative experience beneficial
• Comfortable with physically demanding work
• Looking for a long-term opportunity
• Overhead crane license and FLT license are beneficial but not essential
Working hours for Concrete Operative:
8:00am - 4:00pm Monday – Friday.
The Pay:
£12.50ph
