Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Major Programmes & Projects (MPP) team as we build modern Single Living Accommodation (SLA) for Armed Forces personnel. The Single Living Accommodation (SLA) Programmatic Approach (PA) is implementing efficient processes for delivering new build accommodation through collaboration. It focuses on standardising design and commercial processes to establish a platform approach, aligned to Government and MOD strategies. It uses offsite manufacture to create high quality, sustainable accommodation across the Estate that enhances the lived experience of our service personnel.
We are seeking a Project Manager to support of our Front-Line Commands, improve delivery for UK Defence and realise the benefits of the programme. The role will cover a diverse range of activities to support the delivery of the Programme’s objectives but with specific responsibility for our Pan TLB Pipeline. This is a key part of the Programmatic Approach which assists with TLB planning, allocation of projects to Alliance Members and tracking of key Programme metrics.
You will be actively involved in stakeholder engagement and have a good knowledge of RIBA project stages preferably from working on infrastructure projects.
We are a small team and value those who contribute to a positive, collaborative and proactive working environment, both within the team and with other teams across Ministry of Defence.
(Remote working within this role is something that can be discussed at interview stages or with your future line manager if you are found successful.)
