Summary
Systems Design Engineer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Systems Design Engineer to oversee the technical aspects of the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to understand client requirements, specify system solutions, and ensure the accurate development and testing of systems. The Systems Design Engineer will also be responsible for system architecture definition, engineering lifecycle reviews, and ensuring successful client acceptance.
Responsibilities as Systems Design Engineer
- Provide technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and projects
- Fully understand client requirements and specify system solutions
- Develop and test systems to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
- Participate in engineering lifecycle reviews
- Define system architecture
- Ensure quality of technical and engineering outputs
- Adhere to processes and procedures
- Deliver systems that are fit for purpose to the client
- Demonstrate excellent relationship and communication skills
Qualifications and experience as Systems Design Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience in systems design and architecture
- Strong understanding of engineering lifecycles
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of relevant processes and procedures
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
