Your Role - Manufacturing Machine Operator As a Manufacturing Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the production line runs smoothly and efficiently. Your main responsibilities include
• Maintain, operate, and improve manufacturing processes • Carrying out machine changeovers and tooling adjustments • Driving OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and production performance • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement • Operating Machinery that process, convert and make materials • Running automated or semi-automated machines • Adjusting machine settings to maintain product quality • Monitoring performance to ensure smooth operation • Diagnosing and fixing minor mechanical or technical faults • Reporting more complex issues to the engineering team • Line Changeovers & Setups • Switching production lines for different products • Adjusting tooling and settings to match specifications • Ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency • Checking finished products for defects
Role Requirements & Skills - Manufacturing Manchine Operator
• Experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment (Manufacturing, automotive, chemicals, or similar) • Strong mechanical aptitude – hands-on with machines and equipment • A problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic, ever-changing environment • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in engineering/mechanics is a plus • Mechanically minded individuals who enjoy hands-on work. • Problem solvers who can think quickly on their feet. • Team players who can communicate with operators, engineers, and supervisors.
