Summary
To ensure that nursing care is provided which meets or exceeds the level of patient expectations To manage the delivery of nursing care, assessing, planning and implementing care needs. To work within a team and comply with standards on the ward. To communicate changes to ward team in patient care and care delivery both verbally and in writing To comply with standards of record keeping ensuring adherence to NMC guidelines To be able to manage a team of patients. To be able to prioritise jobs. To be able to work in a challenging environment. To ensure compliance with training and ESR. To actively manage patient care within the ward. Resolve conflict at ward level, diffuse situations and challenge poor behaviour when witnessed or reported Promote a positive and professional image of nursing at all times Work effectively within Unit according to prescribed protocols
