Summary
Supports the Head of Locality Development and the wider team in maintaining strong local relationships and excellent engagement of the Membership and practices across the locality, including the management of Locality Commissioning Forums, Locality Leadership Groups and other engagement events. Contribute to the implementation of the Locality Transformation Scheme and the local Commissioning Context and the continued development of Locality Provider Vehicles within the locality. Works with vulnerable practices and develop practice resilience support systems and tools, building strong relationships with practices through localities to ensure good local intelligence and understanding. Support the development and delivery of Primary Care Networks as a key component of the GP Contract and NHS Long Term Plan, working closely with Locality Provider Boards, healthcare providers and the voluntary sector. Engages with fellow Locality Development Managers across BNSSG to support the delivery of a high quality, consistent approach to locality development and the implementation of the commissioning context in line with the BNSSG CCG vision, aims and objectives Work closely with the primary care development team to implement the BNSSG primary care strategy in the locality and promote resilient sustainable primary care. This will include working with the primary care development team on the implementation of new care models, delivery of workforce initiatives and implementation of the BNSSG resilience and quality improvement programmes.
