Summary


We are seeking a reliable, dynamic and enthusiastic Car Park Administrator to join the Transport team at Dorset County Hospital.
• Providing information to visiting staff and visitors regarding parking arrangements.
• Answering telephone calls to the Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust premises in a polite and friendly manner and forwarding to the correct and relevant members of staff efficiently, in line with laid-down procedures.
• Providing information in response to internal and external enquiries, including those from the public and complainants.
• Have respect for patient confidentiality at all times.
• To maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure that in all areas of your responsibility remain tidy.
• To assist in the investigation of complaints.
• Smart and professional appearance to self, work area and documentation
• Seeks to work with teams through influencing and negotiation
• The post holder may be required to work over their time, sometimes at short notice, in order to ensure the continual working of the premises and thus ensuring Trust/Patient care is not disrupted.
• Seeks to work with teams through influencing and negotiation.
• Collect, collate, evaluate and report information from a wide range of sources.

To provide comprehensive Administration Transport support to the Transport and car parking Team. To be courteous and helpful as first point of contact for all telephone and car park barrier enquiries including staff members, patient, and visitors for the Transport Team, at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to assist in the achievement of departmental objectives

Working hours will be 06:00- 14:00 or 14:00-22:00 Monday to Friday

The successful candidate will work without direct supervision ensuring an effective and efficient service is always provided, promoting a positive and professional image at all times. You will be well suited to the role if you have experience in customer service or an administration background.
