The Role

  • The Head of Social Impact will work closely with the ESG Director and manage a team of professionals.
  • You will ensure that social impact initiatives are seamlessly integrated across HR, Sustainability, Marketing, and Operations.


Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Governance:

* Develop and drive our client's Social Impact strategy, aligned with evolving social value legislation.
* Influence policy by working with government agencies, local authorities, industry bodies, and NGOs.

  • Operational Excellence:

* Lead the corporate volunteering programme, charitable partnerships, and employee engagement in social impact activities.
* Develop high-impact projects with clients, third-sector organizations, and industry bodies.

  • Financial Accountability:

* Oversee financial planning and resource allocation for social impact initiatives.
* Identify funding opportunities and apply for grants.

  • Customer Focus:

* Develop programmes that benefit local communities, aligning with DEI principles and workforce development initiatives.
* Foster an internal culture of purpose-driven work.

  • Team/ People Experience:

* Manage, mentor, and develop the Social Value Managers, Social Impact Coordinator, and Social Impact Intern.
* Promote a strong internal volunteering culture.

  • Innovation, Tech & Continuous Improvement:

* Introduce new methodologies, technologies, and strategic partnerships.

  • KPI Metrics:

* Contribute to social impact policy development through awards, speaking engagements, and other activities.
