Summary

An exciting new role has been created to help support the Council’s Planning and Building Control teams to deliver sustainable, high-quality development. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your organisational skills, IT proficiency and your ability to absorb and communicate technical information to our Planning and Building Control teams

You will have an understanding of either the Planning or Building Control function and experience of working in a Planning or Building Control Section of a Local Authority and will provide technical support, including administering the street naming and numbering function of the Council.

The successful candidate must be well-organised and self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. You must also have excellent communication and negotiation skills and the ability to contribute to a high-quality service to our customers.
