Summary
We currently have a vacancy for Skilled CNC Miller.
We manufacture various components from 1 off's to large batch runs and have a diverse client base including the automotive, motor sport, aerospace, railway, medical, hydraulic and agricultural sectors.
Duties
To follow drawings to produce correct components to the required standards in the most efficient and cost-effective way
Setting and operating manual and CNC machines
Setting tools and producing parts to tight tolerances from customer drawings
Use of inspection and test equipment
Maintain quality paperwork
Maintaining equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
Previous, substantial experience using CNC controls.
Flexible approach to work
Experience working within an engineering machine shop
You must be very well organized and disciplined in your work
Good communication skills, verbal and written
Experience of working with a variety of materials.
