We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Housing Manager to join our successful Housing team within Care Plus on a permanent full time basis. We're looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.
The Role
As a Specialist Housing Manager, you will manage and support a dynamic team to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused housing service within a Retirement Living Care and Support Scheme. You will oversee 24/7 housing management, ensuring residents receive the support they need to live independently while promoting dignity, rights, and choice.
Key responsibilities include managing the voids process, ensuring compliance with Care Plus policies and service standards, and fostering strong collaboration with the Domiciliary Care team for a seamless resident experience. You will also represent Care Plus in meetings, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the development of services and team performance.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
NVQ 3 in a Management or Leadership course
Previous experience of managing a team
Recent substantial experience in providing a housing service for vulnerable people
Commitment to and understanding of good customer service
Experience with safeguarding vulnerable people
Computer literate, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; O365, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel
Knowledge and understanding of a Housing Management System
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Promotes cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverables
Helps create a work environment that embraces and appreciates diversity
Required to have Full UK Driving licence and access to a car for business use
