Summary
Key Tasks: To build and sustain effective relationships and engagement with a wide range of colleagues, and other stakeholders, including clinical partners and educators. coordinate the provision of spiritual support, including non-denominational and non-liturgical worship, in relation to assessed support plans for patients, carers and families. This will include engagement with local partners to deliver specific spiritual care to our patients, carers and families as well as employees and volunteers. To lead the development of coherent patient and carer pathways for spiritual distress which integrate both inpatient and community provision. To assess and develop spiritual care support to meet the needs of patients with a range of problems, of differing severity and complexity. To ensure the provision of relevant spiritual support presence to patients and families during the last moments of life (this is a 24/7 requirement for the in-patients).
