THE ROLE

The role is an FLT Driver using a Counter Balance and Reach fork lift truck. You will also carry out production work and operate specialist machinery. Some of your tasks will include:

- Learning how to operate specialist production-based machinery

- Monitoring and documenting quality

- Loading and unloading materials

- Learning how to set and operate machinery

- Adhering to clearly laid out guidelines and following standard operating procedures

- Loading and loading using FLT

- Feeding production lines and moving product using FLT

- Abiding by strict H&S standards

- General warehouse duties

- Completing paperwork accurately

- Booking stock inbound and outbound


THE PERSON

The business is looking for a person with a strong work ethic and the willingness and desire to learn. However, if you have the following skills and experience it would help your application:

You must have a valid in-date Counter Balance and Reach FLT licence
You must have a minimum of 12 months FLT driving experience
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is desirable
Machine setting experience is desirable
You will demonstrate reliability, punctuality, self-motivation and good team work skills


THE PACKAGE

- £12 per hour rising incrementally during training subject to achieving milestones

- day shift pattern working 08:00-16:30 this will also include working weekends
