Summary
Gateshead Council require a Subject Access Request Officer for a minimum period of 3 months
What we want you to do:
1. To respond to subject access requests as covered by the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation ensuring they are dealt with effectively within appropriate timescales as required by relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practice.
2. To be responsible for accessing and extracting information from computer and/or paper records following a subject access request ensuring that it is compliant with relevant legislation and guidelines.
3. To interpret information to ensure the information being provided is compliant with relevant legislation and guidelines.
4. To liaise with the family and relevant internal and external profession when required.
5. To provide advice and assistance on subject assess request matters as requested ensuring an effective and timely service is provided.
6. Such other responsibilities allocated which are appropriate to the grade of the post.
Compliance Requirements:
Eligibility to work in the UK
Proof of Qualifications (GCSE's A-C) certificate in management or equivalent
2 references from recent employers
