Summary

This hugely successful Yorkshire company are looking to appoint their first in house counsel.
You will be tasked with dealing with all legal aspects of the business as they continue their rapid expansion across the UK. Matters might include commercial and corporate, commercial property, licensing, IP, compliance, disputes, employment and corporate governance amongst other areas.
The role will suit a self-starter with commercial gravitas and business acumen who can improve processes across the business and ultimately assist in making the firm more profitable. It is likely you will already be working in an in house team and be familiar with the vagaries of this type of position.
The role will expose you to senior stakeholders and external third parties so its crucial you have demonstrable and highly effective communication skills and confidence for building relationships both with fellow staff and external clients.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a high calibre work environment and a chance to develop and mould the legal team as the firm expands even further. The salary brackets are in indication only. Key is the right personality fit in a fast paced and dynamic organisation.
Without exception this is an office based role in Leeds five days per week.
