Summary
Bakery assistant needed in a fast pace bakery in Darwen.
Days available:
Thursday 5.30am - 12.30pm
Friday 5.30am - 12.30pm
Saturday 6am - 10am
Monday 5.30am - 12.30pm
Willing to do two part time hours for two people or full time hours for one person, please write a cover letter on your cv of when you are available and your current situation. Some days may require a later finishing time during different times of the year (e.g Christmas) plus holiday and sick cover is required.
General duties:
-Dough moulding, proving, baking and packing first thing in the morning.
-Preparing produce for delivery to sister shop in Rishton, cream cakes, packing pies etc.
-Pie production, roughly 500 pies per day.
-Pinning out pastry for pie lids
-Making sausage rolls from scratch with puff pastry.
-Basic cake making, brownie, carrot cake etc.
-Must be able to follow health and hygiene guidelines throughout the day.
-Must be able to work as a team and follow instructions, no day is the same.
