The role:

We have work locations throughout Northumberland, Newcastle, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Gateshead and Durham.
The types of work locations available are:
Supporting people in their own home on 1:1 basis.
Shared living - providing support to a group of individuals in a shared property.
Concierge locations, where we have an office located in an apartment complex whose purpose is to assist when necessary and requested by the people we support.
Outreach – visiting a few people’s homes a day to provide bespoke support.
Depending on the role you may need to provide personal care, assist with administering medication and support with individuals specific healthcare needs.

What you will have:
An innate ability to be compassionate and patient, with commitment to person-centred care and empowering individuals through Active Support.
Previous experience with, or understanding of, supporting individuals with complex needs, for example; epilepsy, mental health conditions, learning and physical disabilities.
A clear written and verbal communication technique, along with basic IT skills and numerical ability.
A full UK driving license is preferred and may be essential for a few workplace locations.
