Your new company


A specialist service provider for the rail industry. Their client base is most commonly composed of Train Operating Companies where they provide expertise in specialist services ranging from Ecology, Arboriculture, Vegetation Management, Environmental Services, Minor Construction, Civil Works & Fencing. Your role will be split between working from home, office days and occasional site work the south east region.
They have an In-house drone team that uses industry leading technology and advancement in AI to assess trees from the air, delivering high-quality data and imagery for their clients across multiple industries.

Your new role


You will be working as an Arboricultural Inspector, primarily with rail infrastructure clients, but this can vary from utilities companies to local authorities. You will be based in the South west region - from their Newport office. You will work closely with the drone team to deliver on a range of surveys.


Main duties will include…

  • Analyse drone footage on a range of projects
  • Tree identification and surveying
  • Logging of defects / diseases
  • Data management and collation
  • Client, colleague and stakeholder liaising
  • Time management for successful project delivery in an agreed timescales
  • Working with a multidisciplinary team



What you'll need to succeed


  • A level 3 or 4 Arboriculture Qualification or Diploma
  • Good tree identification skills including defects and disease
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
  • Full UK Driving License (Required)
