We are recruiting for ... Milk Filling Operative
We are currently recruiting for a Milk Filling Operative within our Production department at our Bellshill site.
This role will involve operating our manufacturing machinery in order to produce the best quality product. You will need to have a strong team working ethic, be results driven and proactive.
Contract: Full Time / Permanent (39 hours)
Salary: Starting from £12.19 per hour (Base pay) plus the following premiums:
1.25 x Basic Hourly Rate (Sat Working)1.5 x Basic Hourly Rate (Sun Working)
2 x Basic Hourly Rate (Public Holidays)23% Basic Hourly Rate (Unsociable Hours (6pm
- 4am))2 x Basic Hourly Rate (Public Holidays) 1.5 x Basic hourly Rate (overtime)
Shift Pattern: Weekly rotational shifts AM / PM, 5 out of 7 days
Location: Bellshill
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Operate our machinery and processes effectively, delivering the required product output.
- Maintain hygiene standards within the workplace as per standard working conditions.
- System upkeep and related responsibilities.
- Cleaning activities.
- Quality control inspection, assuring customer expectation are maintained.
- Materials replenishment as required.
- First line maintenance checks.
Muller Responsibilities as a Production Operative:
- Has an active role to play in continuously improving our business.
- To be an active part of small teams with operational excellence objectives.
- To have opportunities to deliver own ideas to improve our business.
- Understands the impact of own actions and others on achieving site/business objectives.
- Aware of how current performance impacts the business.
- Health and safety of self and others.
Demonstrable skills, experience and knowledge within the following:
- Previous manual packing work desirable, though not necessary
- Teamwork & Collaboration
- Capability & Accountability
- A flexible approach; able to adapt to changing daily production plans
- A good listener/communicator
- Able to demonstrate initiative and prioritisation skills
- Effective team worker
