Summary

The Research Farms team in Harpenden are recruiting for a Junior Farm & Field Trials Technician.

If you are an ambitious individual, who is organised and a good communicator, who would like to contribute to Rothamsted' s world leading science, we would like to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will have some practical experience working on a farm or with agricultural field trials, however training will be provided. The post could be an opportunity to make a start in the industry with a good all-round experience available in both commercial farming and field trials experience.

This full time post is initially for a 1 year fixed term period and attracts a salary starting from £23,493 per annum for a 37 hour week, seasonal overtime applies. Lawes Agricultural Trust have a portfolio of rental properties in close proximity to the farm, for those who would require local accommodation and we can assist in pursuing this option.

Rothamsted offers a generous pension scheme with minimum employer contribution of 10% and minimum employee contribution of 5%; 30 days annual leave per year, plus bank holidays; Cycle to Work scheme; Rothamsted sports and social committee.
