Skills & Experience:

Experience in Part 6 housing
Knowledge and familiarity with using Locata/Manchester Move
Good level of literacy and numerical skills to undertake calculations and produce letters and other documentation.
Skills to use ICT systems to obtain and analyse data and present it effectively through a variety of ICT channels.
Ability to analyse situations, diagnose problems, identify the key issues, establish and evaluate alternative courses of action and produce a logical, practical and acceptable solution.
Ability to make effective decisions on a day-to-day basis, taking ownership of decisions, demonstrating sound judgment in escalating issues where necessary.
Demonstrate the ability to organise multiple tasks in the most effective way and allocate time and energy according to task complexity and priority



What's involved with this role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-motivated individual to provide the dedicated support necessary for the smooth operation of the Rehousing Service. The Service carry out assessments to ensure that applications are accurate, advice is timely and of high quality. The role holder will carry out a variety of administrative tasks and processes to provide the advice and support necessary.

Key responsibilities:

Assess and respond to the social care needs of service users, promoting access to services that support their independence.
Collaborate with partner agencies and stakeholders to deliver an efficient assessment service, improving outcomes for service users.
Identify safeguarding issues and refer to appropriate channels, assisting in investigations to ensure better service user outcomes.
Maintain accurate records and monitoring information, ensuring compliance with procedures to produce performance and efficiency reports.
Participate in initiatives to implement new strategies and improve the service model available to service users.
Promote positive outcomes for service users by providing tailored support and access to relevant services.
Support continuous improvement in service delivery by contributing to the development and implementation of new practices.
