Summary
The Best Connection Mansfield are recruiting for a number of Refuse Collectors in the Sutton in Ashfield area!!
This a fantastic opportunity for reliable, hardworking and physically fit individuals to represent the council.
This is an extremely active job role, covering many miles, and working in ALL weathers!!! (cold wet mornings is something you must take into consideration)
Working hours: 06:00 until finish (usually between 12:00-14:00) Pay rates: £12.85 per hour During your first 12 weeks, you are paid for the hours you work, however after 12 weeks, you are paid a minimum 37 hours per week! As well as representing local Council, the role will involve: Wheeling bins to the edge of the pavement and loading them on the automatic tipping machine to empty them into the lorry Returning empty bins to houses and perhaps supplying new bins Some heavy lifting/pulling Working lorry machinery Communicating with members of the public, and utilising your reverse assist training in which will be carried out in your induction The role may also include working on the councils tidy up scheme Please be aware you will need to attend our Mansfield branch for a brief interview and to fill in a bespoke form for the council to be considered for an induction...
