We are looking for a caring, knowledgable and experienced individual to join our team as a Deputy Manager and who shares the same values we do - care, compassion and teamwork!

Working closely and as part of the Management team you will ensure that residents receive the highest standards of care and support through effective allocation of staff. You will direct, mentor, and supervise the team to ensure quality standards are maintained and that care is delivered in a timely way in line with our Residents individual needs and wishes.

You will be health and social care qualified with a minimum qualificaiton of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Ideally you will also be registered with Social Care Wales

Applicants with train the trainer qualification would also be beneficial.

Hours of work will be 35-40 per week, to be worked in a combination of office and floor based in line with the needs of the business. Monday-Friday and bank holidays with occasional weekends as required, participation in the on call rota and flexibility in order to cover absences.

Skills / Qualifications:

1. At Least 6 months experience in a similar role
2. Direct care experience preferred.
3. Able to work alone and as part of a team
4. NVQ Level 3-4 in Health & Social Care
5. Excellent Organization Skills
6. Good IT Skills
7. Excellent communication and people skills
8. Basic Literary and arithmetic skills
9. Copes well under pressure
10. Driving Licence
