Summary
We are now seeking applicants for our Heritage Project Co-Ordinator role!
£11,170 per year, 15 hours per week, and 12 months fixed term contract.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as Heritage Project Co-Ordinator.
We seek to employ a suitably qualified person to lead a medium size heritage project based at Bolton Deaf Society in Greater Manchester. This person will be working as part of a volunteer and freelance team and engaging and supporting Deaf, deafened and hard of hearing project participants. The successful candidate will have a love and some knowledge of Deaf heritage and/or community heritage projects.
This role will consist of managing grant drawdowns, reporting, adherence to National Lottery Heritage Fund frameworks and requirements. Maintaining an overview of the funding application detailed Project Plan will be expected, along with participating in a Project Support Group meeting monthly, organisation of a selection of project activities and outreach visits and coordination of a pop-up exhibition roadshow.
We would like for the successful candidate to have good project management, excellent Deaf awareness, experience of working with a range of partners and organisations, understanding of community engagement, excellent planning skills and a flexible approach to work, direct experience of working with the Deaf community, working knowledge of social media platforms, willingness to participate in Bolton Deaf Society induction and relevant training and most importantly, being able to work independently and part of a team!
