About Us

We are a small dedicated team, who areconnectedto the Family help service, working across all teams within Children's Social Care. We cover the county of Oxfordshire but work smartly to ensure big impact and big outcomes for children.Having now completed the first 12 months testing and learning what works, we are now seeking to expand the team to increase our reach to more families.

About the Role

Strengthening Families seek to help children thrive and increase parental resilience during painful and complex moments in family.Strengthening Families will provide a "wrap around" service offering practical, calmingsupportto families in need, with the purpose of de-escalating situations.

The role of Strengthening Families Worker is to offer intensive short term support to families, strengthening their relationships and giving them the skills needed to manage more challenging family moments.

An agile and dynamic worker who can quickly buildtrustwith families in moments of stress.A practitioner who isactivelylistening and who can provide SMART recommendations to steer families through challenging situations.Achildfocused person who is motivated to keep familiestogetherand achieve the very best outcomes for children despite the challenges they face.
