The Role:As the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring that all equipment servicing and repairs are completed efficiently. You will lead a team of workshop engineers, uphold health and safety standards, and continuously seek ways to improve productivity and service levels.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing workshop staff and ensuring work is allocated effectively
- Overseeing servicing, maintenance, and repairs of plant equipment
- Maintaining Health & Safety compliance in the workshop
- Monitoring costs and improving efficiency
- Carrying out toolbox talks and performance reviews
- Supporting recruitment and training of workshop staff

What We’re Looking For:The ideal Workshop Manager will have previous management experience within a workshop or service department, strong organisational skills, and a good understanding of maintenance operations. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be beneficial. A proactive mindset and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.
