Summary
Area - DE7 area
Hours per week - 8 hours per week - 1 Evening a week for 4 hours and 1 Day a week for 4 hours. times can be discussed but I am happy to use the day time hours between 10am & 2pm on a Tuesday or Wednesday. There is some element of flexibility with this role, and I am unable to Monday and Wednesday evenings.
Rate of pay - £13.00 per hour employed / £14.40 per hour self employed
Job Description
Lively fun loving person to provide companionship to a 30 year old man with dyspraxia. Male or female but must be of similar age range. No personal care needed. No previous experience necessary but a willing positive approach to supporting social activities and being a friend. Driver with car an advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities
Plan activities and provide support.
Enhance and nurture well being and self esteem.
Encourage and promote positive self esteem
Provide support for mental well being
Provide support during outside activities
Provide a positive and enjoyable experience
Specific Requirements
Must be dependable, reliable and communicate well.
Must be receptive, willing to learn and ask questions when unsure.
Might be willing to undergo a DBS check
Personal qualities of patience, good communication, reliability and consistency are essential
Sense of humour and fun and a can do attitude.
