About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Domestic and Laundry Assistant to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents/staff/customers. This role involves a combination of cleaning duties and laundry services to ensure high hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning communal areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms to a high standard.
Handling laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes and linens.
Ensuring laundry is distributed correctly and returned to the right person/area.
Using cleaning and laundry equipment safely and effectively.
Following health, safety, and infection control policies.
Assisting with stock checks and reporting any shortages.
Maintaining a friendly and professional attitude towards residents, staff, and visitors.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in cleaning or laundry (preferred but not essential).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good attention to detail and time management skills.
A caring and respectful approach, particularly in residential or healthcare settings.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures (training can be provided).
