Summary
WHAT YOULL DOResponsibilities will include the setting up and control of the heart-lung bypass equipment, which provides life support for adults and paediatrics during cardiac surgery. You will work towards becoming a qualified and autonomous practitioner, able to deliver clinical and professional perfusion services to the multidisciplinary team. You will undergo professional development to enable the Care Group to meet its contractual and professional targets. WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR A relevant Honours Degree (minimum 2:1) will be required to be eligible to undertake the Perfusion Science MSc. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a team, adaptability to changing situations and the ability to work for long periods. A recognised perfusion qualification and a minimum of 12 months post qualification experience in perfusion.
