Summary
The Recruitment Co are recruiting for Food Production Operatives in Wythenshawe, M23.
Duties will include:
- Operating and maintaining machines used to remove wax or cut cheese.
- Cutting or grating blocks or wheels of cheese into smaller pieces as required.
- Manually or mechanically removing the rind from cheese to minimize waste.
- Cutting cheese and moving boxes of cheese using a trolley.
- Checking cheeses for mold and setting them aside for further assessment if needed.
- Weighing boxes of shavings and test cheese, inputting the data into the computer, removing 3 stickers, placing them on the box, and packing into boxes.
- Unloading lorries with loose cheese and stacking cheese on pallets.
We are looking for candidates who have experience working in a fast paced environment that involved either manufacturing or packing products.
We have the following shifts available:
Monday - Friday 6am-2pm
Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm
Monday - Friday 10pm-6am
The pay rates are below:
Early Shift: £11.44 per hour
Late Shift: £11.73 per hour
Night Shift: £12.24 per hour
Overtime is paid at time and a half
These pay rates will increase on April 1st to:
Early Shift: £12.21 per hour
Late Shift: £12.52 per hour
Night Shift: £13.06 per hour
Overtime is paid at time and a half
