Summary

Leisure Facilities Manager (Hybrid) needed in Atherstone, £22.65ph PAYE - Reference: 5259605

Will be working 3 days a week initially, there is potential to increase this. Duration will be for 3 months initially.

The role is more operational, with responsibility for day to day management of the service across multiple sites.

Business acumen and an awareness of future trends and issues of relevance to the leisure industry

The Leisure Facilities Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient management, development and operation of all aspects of the leisure facilities. The post holder will be required to manage and develop the service portfolio having due regard to the policies and procedures of the Authority, its Leisure Facilities Strategy, Divisional and Service Improvement Plans and in compliance with relevant legislation. As such, the post holder is required to ensure the consistent delivery of a high quality, financially viable and sustainable service for the local community across the leisure facilities.

The post holder will be required to work in close co-operation with internal and external partners, senior officers and Councillors.

Through full participation in the Divisional Management Team, the post holder will also make a significant contribution to the management of the Leisure and Community Development Division. This function will be undertaken in support of the Director, on whose behalf the Leisure Facilities Manager will act as and when required / directed.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
