The role within TTF

This is a varied, interesting and challenging role to support the ongoing growth and demand of our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and working alongside engineers on machinery refurbishment and the assembly of new equipment.

Location

We are recruiting for workshop and assembly role at our offices and workshop base Leeds, LS12, West Yorkshire.
Holiday Entitlement

21 days annual leave per annum, from January to December plus Bank Holidays. Five days are retained to cover an extended Christmas and New Year closure period.

Overtime

In the event of overtime being required, this will be paid as follows; Monday to Friday, at single time/pay. Occasionally, time and a half pay for Saturdays and double time pay for Sundays/Bank holidays will be available, with the prior agreement of the line manager.

The Role

We are looking for a workshop/assembly engineers to join our small, thriving, friendly business in our busy headquarters on the outskirts of Leeds.

The successful candidates will be fully trained on the job in the specialist area of high frequency plastic sealing equipment. Prior experience of the industry would be an advantage, however this is not expected due to TTF’s given the longevity of TTF’s experience in the industry.
A background within the electrical and mechanical engineering industries and the area of machinery service and maintenance would be advantageous.

Transferable skills and experience from a variety of work/education/training backgrounds will also be applicable. We welcome candidates who wish to demonstrate possession of appropriate skills and training relevant to the job description and person specification below.
