The position is being offered by the most famous chain of Buffet restaurants in the greater Glasgow and Clyde area, and now opening their newest branch in Dunfermline. • Position : Specialist Grill Chef De Partie
• Employer : Large Multi Cuisine Restaurant
• Location: Dunfermline, Scotland
• Gross OTE Salary package: circa £32,000 (+ share of serv. chge + targeted bonus)
• Weekly working hours / days 48 hours / 5 days
• Benefits & Entitlements: 28 days paid holiday (pro rata) incentives, employer’s workplace pension, employee care and well being initiatives + more
Your role involves skillful preparation of complex Grill dishes and specialities specific to the regional theme of the establishment and its menus. You will be responsible for a series of kitchen operational duties commensurate with job role, including training and supervising of Commi Chefs and other junior kitchen staff
To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements: -
• Eligibility to live and work in UK
• Experience in the preparation of authentic high quality Indian dishes & Specialties
• Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation
• Industrial training in a world renowned culinary/hospitality institute
• Previous experience of at least 3 years in this role
• Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
• Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour
In addition you should also have the following attributes:-
• Performance, achievement and results driven
• Have an eye for detail
• Able to work well with others
• Creative energetic and passionate about delivering culinary excellence
• A hardworking, fastidious and conscientious individual
• Sound health and fitness
