What’s the Job?
We’re looking for a part time Hospitality Assessor to join the Skills Delivery Team to deliver the following qualifications:

 Hospitality Services – SCQF Level 4, 5 & 7
 Professional Cookery - SCQF Level 4, 5 & 7


The Skills Delivery Team is responsible for delivering certificated and bespoke professional courses, SVQs, MAs and Open Learning courses in a college that aims to be one step ahead. The Work-based Learning Hospitality team are a growing and evolving team who deliver SVQ’s and Modern Apprenticeships.

Who we’re looking for?
We’re looking for a person who has relevant qualifications and experience, that is enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and someone who would enjoy supporting candidates to be the best they can be. Recent experience working in the hospitality sector and knowledge of current working practices are essential. Experience as an assessor is desirable but training and certification will be provided.

To succeed in the role, you will have some or all the following:
• Relevant Qualification at a minimum of SCQF Level 7 (e.g. Degree, Graduate Diploma/HNC/HC/SVQ)
• Experience of working in relevant hospitality/professional cookery role/s is essential.
• Experience as a work-based Assessor desirable.
• Excellent time management and planning skills are required to manage a portfolio of candidates.
• Strong customer service and relationship building skills.
• Good/ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using MS Office is required to be able to use College systems and online portfolios.
