Personal Care Assistant – DP/MK06
Location: Great Sankey, Warrington, Cheshire
Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 3 hours per week (flexible, preferably weekends or early weekdays)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide both practical and personal support for a disabled child. This role is designed to promote independence while also assisting with social and leisure activities at home and within the community.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the development of independent living skills
• Provide assistance with personal care, including dressing and toileting
• Escort and accompany the individual to events and outings
• Facilitate participation in social and leisure activities, such as arts, crafts, and dancing
Requirements
• Experience and awareness of working with individuals with epilepsy (essential)
• Non-smoker (essential)
• Must own a vehicle and hold a valid driver’s license (business insurance required)
Additional Information
• A probationary period will apply
• The successful candidate must undergo (free of charge) an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check,
• Working hours and schedule will be discussed at the interview stage
