Summary
Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and at least 4 years of full time post graduate training is essential for this post. It is desirable that applicants also have exposure in cardiothoracic surgery, including heart and lung transplants and donor management. Previous experience in the surgical management of congenital heart disease is desirable.
