Summary

You will need to demonstrate your familiarity with Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience of data-inputting is preferable but training will be given. Our Service uses an online consent process so IT skills are vital. The postholder will be required to fulfil reception duties at clinics and are often the first point of contact for patients and their families on the telephone, so an excellent telephone manner and verbal communication skills are important. The ability to communicate well and remain calm at busy school immunisation sessions is essential. Our patients are our first priority and we strive to offer compassionate care, whilst also working quickly to vaccinate large numbers of children , young people and adults each day. One aspect of the role will be to provide reassurance to children who are feeling anxious about having a vaccination, therefore, experience of working with children and young people would be an advantage. We welcome applicants who can demonstrate a willingness to work flexibly and co-operatively with colleagues; both within their own team and the wider multidisciplinary teams across the whole SCFT area. We are looking for people who are motivated, conscientious and committed to supporting us to maintain high vaccination coverage across Sussex.
