We are now expanding our team in Oldham, working exclusively with The Best Connection Group, and are looking for Production Quality Controllers to join our workforce.
Location: Oldham
Hours: Monday-Thursday 06:00-14:00, Friday 06:00-11:00
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm
Pay Rate - £11.44 p/h - £11.90 per dependant on job role
About the Role:
We are looking for dedicated Production Quality Controllers to join our team in Oldham, working in a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment within the pharmaceutical and medical industry. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong eye for detail, excellent hygiene standards, and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
Packing & Sealing – Ensuring medical products are securely packaged and sealed to specification
Quality Control – Conducting barcode checks to ensure products match before packing
Inspection & Sample Checks – Identifying defects and maintaining high-quality standards
Basic Paperwork & Data Entry – Completing records accurately and using a PC for simple tasks
Palletising Stock – Organising and preparing packed goods for distribution
Scanning & Workflow Management – Keeping up with production demands in a time-sensitive environment
Task Rotation – Duties change every 2 hours, but some tasks can be repetitive
What We’re Looking For:
Attention to Detail – Strong numeracy, literacy, and accuracy skills
Physical Stamina – Comfortable standing for the full shift
Adaptability – Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Hygiene & Compliance – No jewellery or makeup (except a wedding band), hair and beard nets must be worn
Strong Work History – Work references will be checked at the interview stage
Training & Assessment:
Training Period: 4-8 weeks (fully supported)
Induction: Includes a line trial to assess suitability
Pre-Screening: Numeracy & literacy testing required before consideration
