Description
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Building Safety Manager to join our team at WCR 4 Base. This pivotal role involves ensuring that all building safety regulations and compliance standards are met diligently. The Building Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing safety protocols within the organization, aiming to create and maintain a safe environment for all employees and visitors. You will serve as a point of contact for all safety-related inquiries, guiding teams in adhering to policy changes and best practices. In addition, you will conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, develop comprehensive safety plans, and implement key preventative measures. Collaborating with various departments, you will provide training and support related to building safety to foster a culture of safety awareness. This manager will need to stay current with industry regulations and will report directly to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to enhance our safety programs. Responsibilities
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the building to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Develop and implement building safety policies and procedures.
Provide safety training and support to staff to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Act as the primary contact for safety-related inquiries and concerns from employees and management.
Collaborate with other departments to address and mitigate safety risks effectively.
Prepare reports on safety findings and recommendations for management review.
Stay updated on legislative changes and best practices in building safety and compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in building safety management or a similar safety role.
Strong knowledge of building safety regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with staff and management.
Proficient in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Certification in safety management or a related professional designation is preferred.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Day: £275.00
