This is a HEO/C2 post based in Bristol, within the Regulation & Compliance Team of DMR.

The Defence Maritime Regulator is offering an exciting opportunity for someone with a positive outlook, looking for a challenging and rewarding post. We offer proactive individuals the opportunity to work in the Regulations section of the Defence Maritime Regulator.
The successful candidate will be in the Regulation support role. They will help support the Regulation Lead in the creation, review and day to day management of the DMR’s suite of regulations. They will develop and then manage the regulation source record which will become the backbone of regulation management. They will look at continuous improvement across the regulation suite to better serve the domain.
Working with their Legislation counterparts, they will identify the level of regulatory requirement and the Legislation from which the requirement is derived. Additionally, they will provide advice and guidance to Defence maritime domain.
This role provides an outstanding chance to work within the Defence Maritime Regulator, experience and shape the entirety of maritime activities from both a Legislative and Regulatory perspective. The role will also provide an opportunity to gain qualifications and experience at all levels across the Maritime Domain, including interaction with both civilian and military personnel within the team, as well as the regulated community.
